Nipsey Hussle, Bank Boyz and Noxmen stopped by the Brooklyn Sky store before they headed out to the studio to smash new tracks. Shout out to Nipsey Hussle all the way from South Central (Slauson) to show love in NYC. The Noxmen movement is definetly one to follow. Please keep a look out and a hear out for those cats.

Dj JayB Drops 2 Mixtapes

My good friend Dj Jay-B has dropped 2 mixtapes today. Both titled “THE WARNING”. He is letting other djs and promoters that he will be taking no shorts (no pun intended) this year or any year moving forward. JayB is known for his Ultimate Annual Bday parties which were recently held at Gravity in Brooklyn NY. You can find him spinning along side Dj Kreepa Da Kurse in Nocturnal on Tuesdays as well as Fridays at Club Venus beginning in mid-February.

Our relief efforts

In the midst of tragedy from current events down in Haiti, New Yorkers and the world have stepped up BIG TIME to help aid the devastated country of Haiti. Brooklyn Sky along with Vladimir Calixte (Haitian V), Dj Ontrack (SNL Boyz), Dj Stackz, Shortman Movmnts and many others have put together an array of events, services and fundraising items. Our first event at Club Nocturnal was a success. The picture above shows 1/3 Uhaul shipments of Water, Canned Goods and clothes to Haiti. The Haiti Relief Tshirts sold out that same day and we have been reprinting them. The AM New York caught wind of it and gave us a brief mention in their paper. Thank you all that have ordered the shirts, purchased at our store, or at one of the events. We are trying our best to do our part.

Haiti Earthquake
January 14th, 2010Hello World… As you all may know by now about the devastating earthquake that struck Haiti this week. In response Brooklyn Sky, Vladimir Calixte bka Haitian V, and SNL have come together to create a Haiti Relief Tshirt which 100% of the proceeds will go to Haiti. Vlad also had a Birthday party scheduled for tomorrow Jan 15 at Club Nocturnal in Brooklyn NY. That event will now be a Haiti Fund Event where 100% of the proceeds will also go to Haiti. We will be collecting essentials like toilet paper, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc as well as clothing and canned goods. To send to the aid of the people in Haiti.
